On April seventh Cy Falls High School will be hosting its second annual color run.

For first-timers, a color run is similar to any other race, but with the added excitement of colored powder being thrown around, dressing the scene in a myriad of color.

The concept of tossing the colored powder originates from the indian festival ‘Holi’ or ‘The Festival of Colors’ that marks the start of spring.

The Cy Falls Color Run consists of three laps around the school grounds.

Registration, which includes a free T-shirt, and check-In start at 7:30 am and the race at 9:00 am

Profits from this event allow the Cy-Falls Athletics Booster Club to assist the athletes and coaches of CyFalls and provide support beyond the financial constraints of the school.

This includes items like new athletic equipment and the Eagle Pride Scholarship that is awarded to deserving student athletes each year.

There will be a pre-run warm up, color toss, photo area for pictures, and prizes.
